Our Classic Panettone is Italy’s Traditional Italian Christmas cake. A leavened cake with a yellow sponge and cross-cut on top, it is made according to the original Milanese recipe featuring raisins and candied peel of oranges and citrons.
Crafted according to tradition since 1938, our classic Panettone requires 72 hours of production time, which includes the natural rising of the sourdough. The secret lies in the experience of the baker and in the ability to observe and exalt both quality and flavors.
The dough is yellow and made from little refined flours and eggs laid by free-range hens raised in Italy, as well as butter, milk and heavy cream of high quality. All the ingredients in our Top Line are fresh and are selected from the best that our country has to offer. This ensures that our Panettone always yields incredible fragrances and taste. Mixed in the dough of our classic Panettone are raisins and candied fruit. Sultana raisins from Turkey feature seedless, even-looking clusters that are sweet and plump. The grapes are dried naturally out in the sun with no added preservatives. Our selection of candied fruit includes citrons from Diamante, Calabria, and oranges from Sicily. Their essential oils retain the intense aroma of freshly picked fruit.
Our Classic Panettone is available in various sizes: 500gr, 1 kg, 2kg, 3 kg, 5kg and 10kg. We offer several different types of containers: from the simple packaging of the Tuttigiorni Line, to the more refined solutions that include the traditional hat boxes, the eye-catching Giant and the classic Milano Panettone.
