The Sbrisola Mandorla Mais is a reinvention of the Mantuan sbrisolona (crumble cake) – a traditional farmer’s sweet that has been enriched and recreated here by the craftsmanship of Dario Loison. The crumbly and irresistible consistency of this cake derives from the Marano cornflour mixed with butter. The dough is rolled out by hand by our artisans and then embellished with delicious "Tuono" almonds – an ingredient of the finest quality, which makes this cake Made in Italy par excellence.
The great balance of flavours and textures is what distinguishes the Sbrisola Mandorla Mais. The enveloping taste of the crumbly base, in which the sweet and delicate notes of the “Marano” cornflour stand out, blends perfectly with the firm crunch of the “Tuono” almonds.
